Prepare Tools and Safety Gear
Before starting, make sure you have the following items:
- Screwdrivers (Phillips or hex key, depending on your scooter)
- A compatible replacement battery (same voltage & connector type)
- Insulated gloves
- Safety glasses
- A clean, dry workspace

Access the Battery Compartment
- Place the scooter on a **stable, level surface**.
- Locate the battery compartment — usually **under the deck** or inside the main stem.
- Use the appropriate screwdriver to **remove the screws securing the cover**.
- Gently lift the cover and locate the battery pack.

Remove the Old Battery
- **Disconnect the battery connector** from the controller. **Avoid pulling on the wires; use the plug.**
- If there are securing straps or brackets, unfasten them.
- Carefully lift the battery out of the compartment.
- Inspect the compartment for dirt or corrosion and **clean it if needed**.
